Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is coaching and how does it work?
Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process designed to help you clarify what you want, uncover what may be holding you back, and create meaningful action steps toward change. In our sessions, I’ll help you explore new perspectives, build practical tools, and stay accountable as you move toward the life you’re creating.
2. How is coaching different from therapy?
While both can be deeply supportive, they serve different purposes.
Therapy often focuses on healing from the past, processing trauma, or managing mental health challenges.
Coaching focuses on the present and future — helping you identify goals, strengthen resilience, and create forward movement.
Coaching isn’t a substitute for therapy, but it can be a powerful complement to it, especially when you’re ready to grow, rebuild, or take new steps toward your vision.
3. What kinds of challenges can coaching help with?
Coaching can support you through:
- Life transitions or reinvention after change or job loss
- Building confidence and self-trust
- Managing stress or burnout
- Setting and achieving personal or career goals
- Cultivating mindfulness and emotional balance
- Strengthening resilience and self-compassion
If you’re at a crossroads or simply ready to rise and rebuild, coaching can provide the clarity and encouragement to help you move forward.
4. What happens during an introductory session?
Your complimentary session is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to explore where you are, where you’d like to go, and how coaching can support you. You’ll gain insight into your goals and get a feel for what it’s like to work together. There’s no preparation needed — just bring yourself and an open mind.
5. How long are coaching sessions and how often do we meet?
Most sessions are 45–60 minutes, typically held weekly or biweekly depending on your goals. You can schedule individual sessions or select a multi-week coaching package for a more structured growth journey. Most sessions are conducted over Zoom, although telephone is also a possibility and in some cases in-person sessions can be arranged.
6. What’s your coaching approach?
I take a holistic, resilience-based approach — focusing on the mind, body, and spirit connection. Together, we’ll use practical tools, mindfulness strategies, and strengths-based techniques to help you rise, rebuild, and thrive with purpose and balance.
7. Is coaching confidential?
Yes. Your privacy and trust are essential. Everything we discuss in our sessions remains confidential, with the same level of respect and professionalism you would expect in any supportive relationship.
8. How do I know if coaching is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, seeking clarity, or ready for personal or professional growth, coaching can be an empowering next step. It’s ideal for people who are ready to move forward, take ownership of their goals, and explore new possibilities for their life.
